About Maximiliano
Maximiliano Centini’s talent became apparent at a young age.
At 16 he demonstrated his first hair collection on stage at Cosmoprof, Bologna, Italy – one of the world‘s most influential hairdressing events.
His passion for detail and original design soon brought him to London where he joined the Vidal Sassoon International Creative Team.
His ongoing collaborations with some of the most innovative minds in art, fashion and media strengthened his belief that the most progressive and original work springs from a combination of strong cutting skills and the understanding of one artistic instinct.
Maximiliano began travelling around the world performing cutting and colouring seminars and appearing as a guest artist educator at a series of international events.
In 2004 he opened his boutique hair and nail salon in London’s Fulham. It quickly became a successful business attracting artists and professionals alike.
His work gains more and more attention. The fashion shows in association with Vogue and Harvey Nichols, the photocall for the new Wonderbra campaign and London colour fixer in Vogue July 2009 and May 2010 issues.
His latest projects were working alongside fashion photographer Mads Perch creating the Look 2010 Summer Impressions for Dr Hauschka’s make-up range and styling Sophie Dahl’s hair for her new cookery book.
